As an Engineering Manager, youll be at the forefront of our bank operations, leading a dynamic team of engineers in a pivotal role. Join us to drive innovation, foster technical excellence, and play a central role in shaping the future of our global banking platform.

What youll do

• Lead and manage a team of engineers dedicated to delivering and maintaining our critical bank systems

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define objectives and key results (OKRs) for the squad

• Drive technical delivery, including hands-on involvement in technical designs and code reviews

• Provide strong people management, mentoring, and development to the engineers on your team

• Ensure the squads operational excellence practices contribute to an exceptional merchant experience

Youll be great for this position if you

• Are able to fluently communicate in English, both writing and speaking

• Proven experience in engineering leadership and people management, with a track record of successful team management

• Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in technical design and code reviews

• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Product Designers, to align technical efforts with business objectives

• Prior experience in building and supporting high-scale, high-throughput, and high-availability systems, delivering with co-located and remote agile teams

• Experience working in a backend-focused engineering team
